A good travel compromise. I was thinking of buying a mattress topper, maybe cutting it in half and trying to stuff it in my suitcase, but I'm glad I didn't, the TravelSet is thinner and shorter and the role it does, is big enough to hold half the suitcase as it is (bag to carry is useless as the strap broke when I added some extra items). It also compresses under pressure, so I put it in a hard case along with my usual stuff and checked everything out. Even without a suitcase I still find it too big to take with me, I have to measure it. Either way, it works well on the floor and looks great on a bed or sofa. It's expensive but you have to pay for quality. Haven't tried washing the liner yet, which seems to be criticized by others. I think I can deal with it by covering it with a sheet when needed or covering it with a tarp when camping.
