My old 4 port started to fail. I replaced it with this one which I thought was nice since I was using all 4 ports on my old one. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it. It has a metal body and is well made. It has some weight so it stays in place despite the weight of the cables attached to it. I didn't think much about separating the disable buttons for each port, but now that I have it I like the feature. It's nice to be able to just press a button instead of having to disable things I don't use regularly. The power adapter has more power than a traditional self-powered hub, allowing you to use additional ports. You should have no problem connecting multiple bus-powered devices to this hub. Also, I've connected audio devices to it and it's completely silent. No hum or background noise that I can detect. This hub is way better than it needs to be to get the job done and definitely a great buy at this price point!
