When I decided to get rid of paper towels, I had no idea how many different types and brands of microfiber towels there were. After looking at dozens of products and reviews, I finally settled on Quickie Wipes based on the price and reviews. In short, my kitchen and common room shine! I was very impressed with how well the silver cloth removes fingerprints and adds shine to stainless steel appliances. There was a stain on the microwave glass and the blue cloth took care of that just as well, polishing the granite countertops to a glassy sheen. And all without chemical cleaning agents - just a splash of water and an elbow. I used a wooden duster and a washcloth for sinks. They worked well enough. I will not use these rags for heavy work like bathing and showering - I think it would require more force than I need to do a good job. The most important thing to remember when purchasing these fabrics is that you'll need some elbow grease and a good grip to get the best results. The cleaning surface is only on one side of the cloth, so I folded it loosely so both sides can be used for cleaning. My fingers hurt a little that night so I'll take it easy next time. Overall I'm glad I bought this product and won't miss paper towels and harsh detergents.
