This case includes a plastic cover for the keys, no wonder you have to press the keys harder. However, this is not impossible. I decided I would prefer plastic over buttons as they are also easy to scratch. Now everyone is commenting on my keychain. I guess I'll have to get an extra one for the second key fob that comes with the car. And since everything went smoothly, the key fob can be opened easily if I ever need a "key" that will snap into the key fob in the event of a power failure.
