Worked great for 2 months
My seventh year bagged his hot meals and this container kept them warm for several hours until it was time to eat and enough food could be stored. Then the black plastic ring around the top of the outer metal canister broke. (2 months of use) If the ring is cracked, the top lid will no longer close tightly and the food won't stay as hot as it used to. I am not sure if I will buy again. He's not a rude kid and takes care of things decently, but I can see the daily wear and tear breaking him easily as the handle is attached to that plastic ring too!
