We have four different weighted blankets in our house. This one from this brand was the most disappointing of them all. There seems to be a batting or mesh inside that helps distribute the glass beads evenly. Whatever it was, mesh, batting or something else, it broke very quickly. Glass beads are no longer scattered across the ceiling. Let me explain: not only do the beads not stay spread across separate dividers (sewn-in sewn squares), but the beads also don't stay inside their dividers. In short, the beads have migrated to the very edges of the quilt, leaving us with a thin quilt in the center and bunches of beads at the edges. As a result, the blanket has completely lost its functional value in use and during the season. I really hope your results will be different. Maybe I just misunderstood.
