I have been modifying laptops lately and they are perfect for my needs at the moment. There are plenty of attachments and pliers for just about any purpose you need, as well as an ESD wrist strap to protect your gear from damage. Because the parts are so small that they can easily be lost while you're working, it's important to properly remove them for safekeeping. And just generally safely remove them. You can't handle an electronic device with a delicate inner workings; that's how you destroy them.
