Chair frame, seat and back are of good quality for the money. However, the pneumatic cylinder on this chair is cheaply made and will not hold pressure after six months of non-intensive use. As a result, the chair is no longer height-adjustable - the air quickly escapes from the cylinder until the chair sinks to the floor. I'm a medium sized guy (180 lbs) so six months of light use shouldn't have overloaded the cylinder. If the lowest height suits your needs then this stool is probably worth the money, otherwise don't buy it. As another reviewer mentioned, the backrest should actually be raised higher for more comfort. In part, this can be accomplished by drilling two additional holes in the seatback frame underneath.
