I spent time in an apartment building and took Kitty for walks on a leash. While he enjoyed walking outdoors, entering and exiting the building caused him great anxiety. I used the bag to keep him in the common areas of the building, then went outside and let him go for a walk. In the pocket, he remained calm, although his alertness increased a little. I was very pleasantly surprised by this calming effect and consider it a valuable tool in cat care. I had to wash the item once and it didn't hold up well, but I was able to sew up the frayed seam. I found it easy to zip him up through the back, close the neck section so he had enough room for his head, unzip, gather the bag to make it smaller, and then put his head in the Opening of the pocket and tucked through the opening of the neck. I then flipped it slightly upside down to slip the body into the pocket, pulled the assembly out and quickly zipped it up. After loading it this way several times, he was very accommodating.
