These Puma shoes are great. They have a Softride outsole, which is a very soft, flexible foam rubber. The insole is thin but also comfortable. The front of the sock is made of a breathable mesh material that lets air in and keeps your feet cool. The shoes are very light and have a design where the shoe and tongue are not separated, they are one piece which really helps to adapt to the toe of the foot. I will note that the tongue is not thickly lined like most shoes, but the feeling of being thin and light is just great. Most of the outer part of the sneaker is very similar to neoprene, very beautiful. It feels like I wear slippers rather than sneakers due to the comfort and weight. I bought these for work as I stand on concrete all day. The Softride foam rubber outsole is a game changer for me. I feel the sole squash as I strike without shaking the heel, and then it releases as you step forward off the heel, pushing your foot back and helping it move forward. This makes walking and standing much better for long-term scenarios. I don't know how to rate running shoes since I don't run them. But if you stand and walk on concrete, it will change your life. I have to add that they also look very nice. Pretty sporty and not boring looking. All black with bold white Puma lettering. The all-black sneaker and heeled sole hide any dirt I can pick up in the work area. I will buy them again when they wear out. If they only lasted 6 months I would be fine with that because it's hard to find comfortable shoes. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable running shoe that will help with long standing or walking on hard surfaces.
