Great idea with pre-wound bobbins. The first coil worked great. The machine then kept stopping and telling me to check the spool. I had to restart it over and over again. Tried a different coil and continued with the same problem. Rewinding the spool onto spools specially made for Ruby all worked great. 90's thread is ideal and as it is very thin and strong it makes the embroidery more flexible with less tension/pucker. The Ruby has a different "lip" in the bobbin so the machine will alert you when the bobbin is running low. I just bought a small box so I can rewind and use thread on bobbins made for Ruby.
