Review on ARM & Hammer Clump & Seal Platinum Cat Litter, Multi-Cat, 40 lb: Superior Odor Control and Freshness for Multiple Cats by Rachel Flores

I have 4 cats (yes I know but I love my wife) and have loved 3 of them. You have your own room in the house thanks to the purchase of a large house. In good hands. 3 towers, toys and tunnels, frames I build to climb, etc. If you try to paint a picture of how we perceive them, you'll understand what's important. We've never had cats before and started with something simple as bedding (can't remember the brand) the first week when we got #1 and #2. Then I bought the Costco brand. Absolute crap. It doesn't crumple, it just falls apart when you pick it up, so it's obvious the smell hasn't gone away. I threw away more than half of this huge bag and settled on the Fresh Step Multi Cat. We now have a third kitten. Again bought another large box to keep everything spread out. WOW! What a difference immediately! We scoop about every 2 days and really never smell much unless the kitten leaves fresh. I even bought a small air purifier for my room because I can't stand the smell of cats. Everything was good. One day we went on a weekend trip towards the end of the bedding cycle, which usually lasts a month, before I change everything and clean the stalls. When we came back after being away for a few days, and the day before with cleaning, it smelled badly so the rubbish wasn't shoveled out for 4 days. They decided to look up litter lists on the internet and various other lists and they said that Arm & Hammer Clump n Seal does a great job with smells. Damn it wasn't right. everything cleaned. I cleaned and washed the boxes, and in the morning I completely changed the bed linen. By the end of the day the smell was almost strong. By the middle of the next day I had to clean it. 2 days is too long for this litter. This is SO BAD when it comes to smell. It crumples up nicely but a day later the smell spread throughout the house where I was embarrassed by the company. I'm writing this now as I just go back and order a ton of Fresh Step. The clumping is about a 4 out of 5 because the filling granules are a bit larger, but it works well. They even accidentally sent me an unscented one which perfectly masked the smell for several days! DO NOT use this if you have an inner cat box. Terrible smell!
