I had to switch to wet food because whoever dumped my cute, very old cat on a busy highway never brushed their teeth. She is too old to risk her life by sending them to clean. As far as my vet and I can tell, she stopped eating dry food because of a toothache. She is incredibly picky about wet food. She won't touch any of the water EXCEPT that one taste.
