Review on πŸŽ’ Columbia Unisex Mazama Backpack: A Versatile Collegiate Daypack with Casual Style by Jason Paredes

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not the Columbia you remember

First impressions of this simple backpack are that it's surprisingly simple Jane. Actually two pockets of decent size and the inner pocket with a divider. That's all. It will certainly be large enough for a schoolboy to lug around his books or for you to stock up on for a day hike. The zippers work smoothly. The problem with this backpack is that it doesn't cost very much. This is not the quality you would expect from Colombia. The backpack body material is surprisingly light and thin. Maybe you can see from my picture that if you hold it up to a light you can almost see through it. Yes, it speaks of lightness, but not strength. You pay for the Columbia name. This backpack should cost about $20 less depending on build quality.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Outdated
