Keep an eye on your fan's health, it can kill your resistance.
I looked through two of these before realizing my fan was defective. If the resistance problem persists after replacement, do not turn on the AC system. Your fan is defective and needs to be replaced. A bad one will short out the resistor, resulting in money being thrown away.
