First of all I have to admit that my dog has already been trained to wear an electronic collar to keep his barking at bay. But this collar became unreliable as it was over 20 years old. The BRISON collar is a worthy replacement for home use. It's very light and mostly plastic so I don't expect it to be very strong - the plate holding the pens in place has already cracked after a week of use but it still works. I do not intend to use this collar to train my dog; Rather, I'll be using it at home for what I call "uncomfortable" barking - barking at wild animals, squirrels, children playing in the neighborhood, etc. The deep "beep" sound is way better than other collars I bought last year. which was very high and could startle my dog - even if she wasn't wearing it and I checked the remote - she would run away from me if I held the remote! I stopped using it when I noticed her anxious demeanor and I suspect that tone annoyed her greatly. The BRISON's "beep and vibrate mode" works very well - after the vibration started the first time the collar was put on, she stopped barking immediately when she was alone outside. (She doesn't bark when I'm with her.) She doesn't look annoyed or scared when I turn on the beeper or when it activates at level 7, the highest level. The fit of the collar isn't quite right - a hole at the top and it's a little tight; One hole down and it's a little loose - I put it on her a little loose and it seems fine. I do not intend to use the "Impact" collar mode as it is not needed for my needs and I cannot comment on its effectiveness. Advantages: fast and long loading, ease of use, product efficiency; Cons: The mechanism is a bit bulky, the lightweight plastic isn't very strong, the collar itself is a bit flimsy and doesn't fit, shock mode isn't needed. Overall I'm happy with the product and hope it lasts longer than I think it will!
