Great for the Opera!
I bought this to wear with an evening gown for the Opera and it was perfect! Elegant and decently warm on it's own, but you can easily amp up coverage with opera length gloves. I'm excited to use it again. It's a smidge wide for me (my shoulder span is 46cm/18inches) so you can see it slipping a bit at times, but that's easily solved by reinforcing the closure with the brooch it came with.
