Honest Review - Accessories

I'm not a fan. I even tried to return them after a fair trial period. Unfortunately, the return period has expired by 2 days. I bought these to prevent my cables from breaking, for a more secure grip when connecting and disconnecting. First I connected 2 with the Apple cable with no problems. The second I connected to a Belkin cable that had a broken white latch. The cable was a bit thicker than Apple's. I haven't tried adding another to this cable. These clamps will ONLY work on smaller cables. My second concern was the functionality of the claimed product. SAVER PROTECTOR means less damage to my cables for me. That's not the case. The terminals will eventually slip off the cable and will need to be repositioned. After just a few uses, I found a kink between the connector and the TUDIA. That's the first sign he's moving. I quickly found that I reached through the TUDIA clamp to the original cable connector to connect and disconnect. Otherwise, the clip has become much more convenient, allowing you to pull it by the wire instead of the plug. I did more damage to my cables. I believe these terminals are worth nothing more than just color coding your wires. I put 9 1/2 in the original packaging for a garage sale item. Maybe I can get some of my money back. I had to replace damaged cables. Better cables are the answer. Not this quick (not) fix. Check out QUNTIS braided cables. BEWARE!
