I bought this fabric to protect the arm wires on a custom turntable. I had a lot of hum because the arm is plastic and the base is wood; no metal to protect the wires from electromagnetic interference. I only used tape because I couldn't find a good glue to stick the fabric to the body. We tried contact glue and PVA glue, nothing helped. However, the material keeps what it promises. Although I never figured out the best way to attach it where I needed it, the rumble when wrapping the tonearm was completely gone. I carefully wrapped the wires in electrical tape and then bought more tape for the socket wrap. The adhesive is truly conductive, meaning that one layer of tape has continuity with an overlapping layer. I am impressed. The stuff works as advertised, especially for the low noise I wanted to shield.
