It was quite difficult to cut the dividers with regular scissors. Even after trimming the dividers, the edges were sharp. I didn't have sandpaper to sand it down so I assumed it. But it turns out pretty hard. They seem pretty solid at first, but after a month I've noticed that they always move in a certain direction unless I fold or put my clothes back on. Overall I think it works, but I still expect the splitter to be more durable and easier to install. I believe the container shop has a similar product for the same price.
