Got this to clean up my home studio by getting rid of my big block softbox lights. It turns out it's not a replacement for key light + fill light + auxiliary light when you don't have natural light in your studio. I leave the blinds closed so I don't have to constantly adjust the light to the time of day I'm shooting (sometimes at night, sometimes during the day) and I've tried every possible adjustment on this ring light - height, distance, angle. , brightness, cold, warm - and I just couldn't get the same brightness/softness/clarity with the softbox kit. Collect it. One more thing: It was VERY bright to look at. After leaving my studio, colorful donuts floated in my field of vision for several minutes. This suggests that this light can be great when used with natural light just sitting in your bedroom or on the couch. If my girlfriend who does eyelash extensions and skin care doesn't want it, I'll send her back. There are no complaints about the product, it just didn't suit my needs and possibly not yours.
