for the price these are pretty good banana plugs. They fit (tightly) on almost anything and the screw clamp design seems to be pretty well thought out and works well. They are attractive too (true in the photo). I wish there was a 4.5 star option because for everything else they do well, there are two issues that bother me (which have nothing to do with their actual functionality). At first glance they look like beautifully machined aluminum billets, but the cases are quite thin and light, making them "appear" cheap when in fact they aren't. It's just a psychological break. The other issue is that the hub protrudes a bit more than I would like for the fork end. It could be a manufacturing decision, it could be some sort of strain relief, but it seems odd and makes the plug a bit longer (e.g. 1/8" than it needs to be. But that's a nitpick. fantastic banana plug. Of course there is other, more exotic plugs that don't have these minor problems, but you'll be spending at least twice as much for it and it won't sound any better.
