Good ironing board cover

This ironing board cover meets my needs very well. My existing ironing board cover was the one that came with the ironing board, with a very, very thin layer of foam and a thin surface that was starting to show water stains (and a floral pattern that doesn't match my decor style). My ironing board is 54" x 14.5" and the cover is very snug but it fits (I should note that I left the old foam pad and cover and put this new cover on both - the fit might not be that snug , if I had removed my original case). I may not need the fasteners as they fit snugly, but I used them anyway to pull the edges off the side of the ironing board a bit. The color matches my underwear. The color of the room is good (grey-gray) The filling sewn into the cover is nice and thick, I can no longer feel the metal mesh of the ironing board. I have not encountered any problems with the iron sticking to the ironing board. Coating at high temperatures (I have a cotton coating, not silicone). I also bought a cheaper Revain ironing board cover ($10) to compare the two. I ended up sending the cheaper case back because the padding doesn't feel as thick as the Sunkloof case (it was easier to feel the metal mesh of the ironing board with the case behind the cover). Water drips onto the surface of the Sunkloof, while water doesn't drip and eventually soaks into the cheaper coating. The cheaper case also didn't come with zips and a safety net. Even though the Sunkloof case was more expensive, I think it's a nicer product overall, equipped with zippers and mesh fabric.
