For what I paid I really wasn't expecting much. But I expected more than I got. I bought this watch because I am attracted to pocket watches and I liked the old classic look of this watch. I was pleasantly surprised that he had enough time. For the first seven weeks of my arrival, I put it on and wore it occasionally. Then, in the eighth week, I decided to hang it on the wall in front of my desk at home. I needed something to cheer me up in this remote work era. On the third day, when it was hanging in front of my desk, I started rewinding it. And about halfway to rewind, the spring suddenly broke. Now the clock doesn't do anything. For many years I have been using mechanical watches with a factory, both on my wrist and in my pocket. I know when to stop. So it was not a problem if the mainspring of this watch failed. So keep in mind this watch is attractive if you like old watches, they keep time reasonably well but they may not last very many weeks - in my case it only lasted eight weeks with intermittent use.
