I measured my old pillow with edges stretched and got 20 inches. This is the size I ordered. It was a comfortable fit and I was very careful not to tear anything when tucking it in, but the covers fit like a second skin and I was able to zip them back up. I've read about increasing the size and I'm wondering if my pillows looked like they had a cover instead of looking like new pillows now. The fabric is wonderful! Such a soft and even light cream color does not miss the dark brown color of the pillow. The second photo shows two identical pillows. The one that is covered and the other that is not covered. The third is the back so you can see how it sits and how well it covers (hides) the pillow. The color I ordered is called beige but seems more of a cream color to me.
