Loved the pattern, charming. I love the little tie as it helps to stay in place while she plays. Bought to protect my 3 year old's "piece" from sunburn and he may need to purchase a different design. Now she is a medium. I wish I had found this last summer! ** Update 6/22/14: The hat is still in perfect condition except for the seam where two fabrics are sewn together. It's spreading now. I tried to fix a couple of inches long, but the thread keeps pulling through. Anyway, I'll order another hat. They dry quickly and are comfortable for her. $20 for a new hat 1-2 times a year is fine, but I want it to stay together, at least until it outgrows it! She is 4 years old now and I am having trouble finding a girls pattern in "large" and as the medium size still looks good I am going with it.
