I had one of those electric fly swatters that was battery operated and didn't charge. Well, it stopped working. So I looked for a new one and found out you can get them rechargeable. I bought this one and I'm glad I did because it works great. It's rechargeable, so I don't have to worry about buying batteries all the time. I fully charged it according to the instructions in the manual before using it, and I need to charge it again. I've been using it every day since I received it about 5 days ago. Where I live there are quite a lot of mosquitoes. When I go out at night I take it with me and swing it around every now and then and it destroys those annoying things. I love that little sound he makes when you get this because I know he can't bite me. I recommend this product!
