I'm used to the BDU hats I can find at military stores that have an inner layer and an outer layer to hold the shape of the hat as the inner layer is lightweight smaller than the outer ply layer, creating a rigid structure (does not round at the top fillet of the cylinder). Also, most military grade BDU hats are made from 50% poly, 50% cotton, and ripstop poly. These are single ply cotton. They should fit most people, but if you're looking for military-style BDU hats, keep looking.
