You are awesome! You can set different levels of flicker or constant light. They ran 6 hours every night for 3 weeks without changing the battery. The remote works in line of sight, so you must be in line of sight to turn it on. It turns on through glass and light fabric, but not black plastic. Like Christmas themed window candles, they're not as tall as traditional-style plug-ins, but I put mine on the bottom half. my double hung windows (half windows) and they look great from the outside. They are not as bright as AC plugs, but are clearly visible from 75 meters from the road. In terms of durability, all refills and the remote worked as advertised for 3 weeks. I have no complaints. And if I only get one season from them, they're worth their money. Edit: The second season is still heavily used.
