Rubber is attractive, and more importantly, the suspension smooths out bumps in the road and makes taxiing more reliable. The transition from winter to summer, however, saw an increase in consumption (from 8 to 10 liters in the city). Nonetheless, it's feasible because drivers tend to be more reckless in the summer.
