The color is much better than I feared. There is nothing else. It is the same construction as any other Ottoman cube but slightly smaller. And legs. Oh legs. If you squeeze it really hard and let the veins pop out of the forehead you can do it, you can just screw them into the metal guard. We ended up giving up the metal guard on one of them. Not critical as it will hold the yarn and legs but I wouldn't sit on it.
