For a $20 novelty it sounds good if you don't crank it to the distortion limit. It's not high-end stereo, so it wouldn't be fair to compare it to a Bose or similar speaker (obviously). The speaker is very light and I think that the plastic casing may break or at least crack if dropped on concrete (e.g. high deck) from some distance. It has strobe lights that do NOT flash/change color to the beat of the music. Luckily, you can turn them off with a push of a button. I think this is especially important if you're prone to headaches or migraines, which can be triggered by flashing lights. It will be a cool party favor with adult drink box. Or, if you're looking to put together a gift/prank themed basket, it would be easy to find free items to take away such as: B. a beach cooler, said drinks and bottle cookies. This is a cool new product that sounds better than most $20 speakers. If you don't expect audiophile sound quality, you'll be happy with your purchase. I hope my humble opinion helps you in some way.
