This is just fantastic. I bought this specifically for the rubber grip, not the sandpaper. There are so many different uses for this material. While you can use them on steps or other places where you need more grip for safety reasons, I bought them specifically to fit a rear bumper pad. My gasket was old and oxidized. It lost its color and became very slick and slippery. This material breathed new life into him. To the credit of the glue, my bumper is round and I was worried the glue wouldn't stick due to the texture. Using a roller I was able to lay it down and remove the air bubbles to ensure good adhesion. (Tip: Whatever the texture, using a bubble roller under the tape will ensure good adhesion to the surface. Also, be careful not to stretch the tape across textured surfaces to ensure there is enough clearance on the surface. ) As other reviewers have pointed out, this tape can be used for a variety of purposes, as in my example. The texture of the rubber is soft but offers good grip. The adhesive is good and sticks to most smooth surfaces I've tried, mostly plastic. It is important to note that I have not used it on concrete, wood or any other uneven surface that may be porous. Please bear this in mind as you read this review. Otherwise I would recommend.
