I bought these to try and prevent skin milia, those little white bumps caused by stuck skin cells. I'm not a big fan of rubbing my face with rough surfaces, so I decided to try pads with glycolic acid. They were excellent at preventing milia. At first I used them every day, but now I use them maybe once a week. The pads are very thin but made from this durable woven napkin material so they hold up well. I usually only use one, front and back, for each application, but it's easy to grab 2 without realizing because they're so thin. My skin tingles a bit after applying it, but it's never been anything I'd call painful and it's pretty short-lived. It was very valuable when I compared prices.
