Really picks up dust, hair and everything on the carpet. These black threads got stuck in my carpet because I was wearing new black socks that I bought specifically to get rid of the dirt on my beige carpet. The threads are very small and the vacuum (including Bissel Pet Hair Remover) didn't pick them up. I would have to bend down and separate the thread from the carpet and then vacuum. They were on my carpet. This brush will remove them along with everything else (except the stain). A great idea! I would like and can try using it with some sort of stain remover to see if it works. Be careful not to let the rubber react with the stain remover. Everyone should have one of these. The only problem is that it's difficult to get close to the walls. You should make some nozzles or hand brushes for hard to reach places. I bought new socks!
