This is a good foot massager that is not enhanced with smart features that are unreliable and ineffective. The massager itself is used regularly in our family. My partner has leg issues and finds it very therapeutic, especially on high settings. I really like that the fabric covers can be removed for easy cleaning (see photo). My only issue with the hardware is that the capacitive buttons sometimes don't register touches and take a few tries to get working. My issues with the smart features are that it can be difficult to connect and often lose network settings entirely. As you can see in the attached video, the Wi-Fi light isn't even on. I had to go through the whole process again to make it work. I could only connect it in "ap" mode, which isn't the default, so I had to dig into the manual and use an alternate reset mode to get it working. The app is called "Gennec" and I'm not sure how it relates to the Renpho brand, but it seems to support a range of other smart devices. More than one user can't connect to the device, so multiple people in your family can't use the app from their phones. All of this to save you from having to bend down to press buttons, which would be possible with an IR remote. use. Hope they improve the software.
