I hesitated to buy this bag as all people say it doesn't fit in their 15-17" laptop and I have a 17" lenovo Judging by the picture, it should have been quite big, so I decided to try it.In the middle is a closed zippered compartment that the laptop doesn't fit in, and I think people try to put the laptop to put in here. It doesn't go there (I don't think). It fits in the wider part of the bag which is softer and once I put my laptop in there was still room. This is a very nice bag and I'm very happy that I tried it first instead of thinking it wouldn't fit.
