Based on the positive feedback, I bought this voice amplification system for my elementary school class. The microphone only picks up my voice when it touches my mouth. I was hoping to use this system when wearing a mask. When I put the mic under the mask it doesn't work unless I press it against my mouth, which is ridiculous and impossible to maintain. The speaker is also very quiet despite being set to maximum volume. Don't waste your money on this incompetent system.
