I was happy to find a dish rack with non-removable "straight" hooks. Removable curved hooks make it difficult to hang dishes, move around and come loose when putting away dishes, which I hate. That being said, this rack's smart hooks and smooth-running silicone ring system are the only good things about this trailer. - Looks flimsy (compared to dish racks like KES and OXO) - Metal is not fingerprint resistant and looks dirty to the touch - Several large words are clearly engraved on each bracket. for everyone to see - On the stand I ordered, one leg was slightly bent and two legs weren't parallel (call me OCD) - The adhesive mounting squares are 2.25" x 2.25" ie much larger than the supports huh makes a screwless installation quite unsightly. Verdict: Serves its purpose, but I wouldn't recommend it for high-end kitchens (not that my kitchen is expensive, but this counter looks pretty cheap). HOW DOES THIS RACK COMPARE TO THE KES UTENSIL COOKWARE RACK: The KES UTENSIL COOKWARE RACK has a matte finish. ckel finish (this one has a shiny chrome finish) - KES Dish Rack with 10 Hooks 22" long is slightly longer than this rack (+) - KES Dish Rack Shaft is much thicker and looks/feels less flimsy ( +) - Dish Shelf KES utensils appear to be of better quality and their finish is fingerprint resistant (+)- KES utensil holders are larger/thicker/sturdier and nothing is engraved on them (+)- Hooks KES utensil holders have curved ones by default , removable hooks (-) - The KES dish rack needs to be screwed on, if you use 3M tape to fix it, it will be visible through the holes in the supports (-) WHAT IS THIS RACK COMPARED TO OXO DISCOVERY RACK- OXO Dish Rack is shorter and has fewer hooks (-)- OXO Dish Rack is made from polished nickel/stainless steel (+)- OXO Dish Rack legs have a sliding cover that hides the hardware meaning you can also secure them with 3M tape and it is not visible (+)- The Hak The ends on the OXO dish rack are shorter and straighter than the hooks on this rack. I ended up giving up all the racks (although I left the OXO rack for hanging water bottles) and ordered strong magnetic hooks which I hung on the hood (see photo #4). This gave me more flexibility + I didn't have to drill my tile backsplash. Also, I don't have to look at unsightly adhesive mounts, anti-tippers and huge industrial seals every time I cook!
