Received the bar cart fairly quickly. When I first opened it, I smelled a very strong chemical odor, so strong it gave me a headache. I thought it just needed airing and I have to say the smell was gone after a few days. The real disappointment was that when I was almost done assembling it (which was NOT easy due to the lack of pilot holes and poor instructions) the middle shelf fell apart. It didn't break, it came loose on its own. Shelves are made of several pieces glued together, not solid pieces of wood. The shelf is now uneven and can only be used on one side. I'm not sure what I want to do at this point. It's going to be a lot of work taking it apart and trying to get it back in the box it came in. A real bummer.
