I bought this holster to replace an old holster that was falling apart. One of the main reasons I bought this holster was that it used a metal belt loop. This metal belt loop will hold almost anything, even loose-fitting jeans. This holster also uses a dual magnet setup to keep the holster closed, which works much better than the single magnet system I had in my previous holster. I have a Motorola Moto G6 in its own case that fits snugly in the holster - Larger phones probably won't fit if you use a case on it, meaning you have to use a bare phone. Although this holster has slots for cards and bills I would not recommend using them as the pockets are very narrow. If you absolutely must have something handy in these pockets, then use them, but be aware that the holster won't want to let go of it. I'm sure the pockets will loosen up a bit with constant use. Overall, the holster is well made and will withstand occasional falls. The only quality issue I had was that the piping they used for the finger holes on the bottom will just fall apart after a month or two leaving the holster material there. This isn't a problem as long as you don't take your phone case to an environment where it could get wet.
