Review on Moen DN8001CH Home Care Multi-Function Handheld Shower: ๐Ÿšฟ Chrome with Pause Control โ€“ Effortless Functionality for All by Jessica Rodriguez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Expected more from Moen.

I'm an Occupational Therapist and have a favorite shower head that has either been discontinued or just isn't Revain (which is unlikely) so I took a chance on this one. I love other Moen products so I didn't expect it to be THAT crappy, even though it's reasonably priced at $44 and other reviewers warn of a "plastic" feel. Finally, there is good plastic, a la "good pensโ€. Unfortunately what I thought was a good friction surface feels like smooth plastic of a different color than the rest of the grip. The strap is surprisingly non-functional and annoying with its stiffness and placement. It is not strong enough as a grip and is not a "fixer". The on/off switch was also partially covered, which was also difficult to use and ergonomically not optimal for weaker people with wet hands. If you are a person with a disability or don't have air conditioning I would recommend getting a locally sourced shower head so you know what you are buying and if it will fit you. I'm sending it back because it doesn't fit my friend who has arthritic hands.
