I used two of these to wall mount a pair of 3-shelf bookcases in my garage. With all the "things" on the bookshelves, I could pick up every one of them. In doing so, I found that this was well under the 200-pound weight limit. They include a small bubble level that makes it very easy to level the plank to mark the drill holes. I used four 1/4" x 2 1/4" Tapcons to install each of the wall side battens into the concrete block. I used the included screws to attach the other half to the bookshelf. The screws are in-line threaded and I drilled pilot holes in the bookshelf to keep the wood from splitting. Now that the shelves are (almost) all gone, I've decided to throw away half the junk I had on them. I think the added benefit of that was that I got rid of some junk. Always good.
