I am a homeschooled mom on a budget. I print a lot of syllabuses. I have a laser printer and am buying a different brand of toner to save money. I have a second color laser printer so I know what I'm doing and I have experience with thousands upon thousands of pages. My first complaint about this toner is the color. It's too light. After trying different brands I know the color is never as good as Brother's, but for the price it's usually right. I went to this company for my old printer because they had the best ink. This batch of toners turned out to be a lot lighter than I expected them to be. But this problem wouldn't be a big problem if I didn't have others. The magenta toner ruined everything! I knew immediately something was wrong with magenta because it added a slight pink tint to every page that went through the printer, even the ones that didn't print. I emailed the company asking for a replacement but unfortunately the pink color was difficult to capture in a photo (even compared to an unused sheet - see image) so they figured there was nothing wrong and told me, that I just have to clean mine. slides. If I were a company I would have to order a brand new set as the pink residue is unacceptable and to my knowledge you cannot order just one color of off brand toner. Well, then it turned into magenta spots all over. Unfortunately I had two large print jobs and kept trying to scrape off the foil the way they suggested. Nothing worked. When I tried again, a large amount of magenta flowed out of the toner cartridge, resulting in a huge mess. My thought at the time wasn't to "take a picture of this mess," but "pull it out of the printer!" (purple stains over everything else within a foot radius.) I couldn't get everything. , but after 20 minutes of working out the details, it's not that noticeable anymore. I should also mention that the inside of my vacuum container is now a bright purple hue too. At that point I wrote back to the company and explained how they were ruining everything I was trying to print. They offered a $12 partial refund for the magenta. I used most of the total toner set (which the printer censors say is clearly not very high) to try to get this magenta to work, and get more and more pink. As a homeschooling mom writing a syllabus for my family, I can get away with ridiculous pink spots, but it's not perfect and I have to reprint all non-consumable pages when I get a new set. But seriously, if you spoke to a customer about the same toner and they weren't happy with the print quality, what can you buy for $12 to fix the problem? I have been a long time customer of this brand for another printer but I will no longer endorse this company for my new printer.
