I'm not a wig or weave wig, I just wanted to try something different that I haven't tried in 24 years of my life lol. I love love love this wig. It's soft, nice black, it was long but for my taste I shortened it and still looks nice. I modified the part a bit but it wasn't really necessary, I'm just a perfectionist. This is definitely a great purchase. If you want the wig to lie very flat I would skip the braids, just comb the wig cap and then the wig back. The bangs were a bit long for me because I hate hair in front of my eyes, so it wasn't anything that couldn't be fixed with scissors. Big forehead and big head are friendly. (It looks blue in the photos but it's actually a very nice black) I haven't tried heating it so can't help with that part. Really don't need heat
