Owning a 20-year-old Ford Ranger comes with challenges, one of which is finding non-junk replacement parts. This EGR valve was an exact replacement for a leaking EGR valve that was causing vacuum leaks and a higher than normal idle. Removing the battery and the correct wrench (27mm) will help if you have trouble loosening the nut around the base. Otherwise the installation wasn't difficult. Great OEM product at a very good price.
