Review on Comsoon [2021 Upgraded] Dual Connect Bluetooth AUX Adapter: Noise Cancelling Music Receiver for Car/Home Stereo/Headphones, Hands-Free Calls, 16H Battery Life - Black+Gray by Patrick Reid

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It worked fine for a month or two, then the sound quality deteriorated a lot.

I bought this to listen to music in the car as it is an older model without built in Bluetooth but with an AUX input. I've used cables before, but they don't seem to work well with my current phone. everything always sounds far away, and there is a harsh howl in the background. I read that it could be a grounding issue, so I decided to try a bluetooth receiver instead of redoubling my efforts and trying to buy something else to fix the problem. It was on sale and had good reviews, so I gave it a try. Now, for the first month or two, everything sounded fine - it wasn't what I would call perfect sound quality, but you can't expect that. from something. I haven't used it very much, usually just going back and forth from work to the gym, but something has already gone wrong and now the sound quality is poor no matter what I'm doing. Some parts of my music sound like they're really far away (imagine listening to something in an empty warehouse and you'll get the idea) and no amount of tweaking or readjusting the EQ is going to fix it. As it's only been like this for two months, I think I can look elsewhere and see if I can find something more branded, or at least something with a guarantee.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
