This cable has serious defects. enough to maintain a strong connection. 2: Even after the cable is firmly attached and doesn't move at all, the sound of the echo will stop within a minute or two. I know the Echo isn't the problem because it's brand new and doesn't work. do not do this with a regular power cord. I also don't think it turns itself off due to a loose plug as as mentioned above I made sure the cord was tight and even secured the cord to prevent any movement. Recommend to anyone using it for Echo 3.
