Review on Tyler Portable Widescreen Detachable Antennas Portable Audio & Video by Jake Powell

Bought this TV for a small work bench in my shop. It's frustrating that mid-size TVs are so cheap these days, but TVs this size are still pretty expensive. It's not the best TV but it works for me. It's not the best TV when it's off; The front of the device is cluttered with all function buttons and a bunch of unnecessary plastic highlights. It doesn't bother me much and I appreciate being able to control the TV without having to look for a little crappy remote control. Out of the box, the picture is surprisingly poor - it looks like someone turned up the color contrast too much. I tried fixing the image using the options but the optimal setting is still pretty bad. The sound is bad too but it's not surprising. If I cared more about it, I could just plug it into a portable speaker. I'm still moderately satisfied with the purchase, despite the mediocre sound and picture. It was easy to set up and the included antennas worked well. It is also very handy and versatile for all kinds of applications. With the battery and antenna, it can be used in many situations, which is the main reason for my moderately positive rating.
