I bought these thinking I could take them on vacation, they are very compact and light BUT don't worry if you are a bit overweight. Maybe for skinny people, but not for the rest of us. He says that's for the beach too, but it sinks right into the sand and you turn around instantly. Used them for fireworks shows and it was a balance. I returned them and bought normal camping chairs.
